The huge stone circle at Avebury in Wiltshire is so big I have
dedicated 6 pages of photos to this very special stone circle in Wiltshire UK!
The last time I visited Avebury I took pictures, this was approx 1992, I noticed some of the stones had changed since then, some due to rain erosion, some had huge chunks missing. I compared some of the before and after photos and will be adding these pictures to these pages once scanned in.
Now I have a digital camera to take my photos in those good old days, I used a 35mm camera!

in the little Wiltshire village of Avebury stands a very large stone circle, it's quite different from Stonehenge and Woodhenge and the village has a lovely little village pub where you can enjoy a quiet drink and a meal with superb views over the Avebury Stone Circle. This pub has very friendly staff!
In Avebury village there is also a small vegetarian B & B if you are considering a holiday to Avebury. I should think the B&B at Avebury gets pretty booked up as it enjoys excellent views of Avebury stone circle and is right next to the pub! Stonehenge is close enough to visit from Avebury Circle Wiltshire
